Here we are, our last day at the happiest place on earth. I had this great plan to go and watch the 3:00 parade as our last Disney thing to do...and yes, we waited for an hour and half for it to start...but it was worth it!!!
Here is Ty on the Monorail, on our way to the Magic Kingdom.
We head into the gates for the last time on this trip..sigh...Look at Tyler waving...awww...
We walked around and ventured into some shops...Since it was almost St. Patrick's Day, there were a lot of cute St. Patty's Day souvenirs.
We saw the Disney Marching Band, and the Barbershop Quartet...which brought back such lovely memories for me as a child. My grandmother LOVED the Barbershop Quartet. I wish we could have stayed longer to watch them. Maybe next time. ;)
Here is the Barbershop Quartet...
We strolled over to Mickey's Toontown Fair to meet some characters...
Here is Tyler with Donald and Daisy...
And the Chip and Dale LOVED Ty...
Here is Ty blowing kisses..
BIG chimpmunk hugs!
Chimpmunk advice..
After meeting the characters...we went to find a spot to watch the parade. Tim took Tyler and I went into some stores to find some souvenirs to take home. Here is a picture of Tyler wearing Tim's glasses waiting for the parade to start...
There was a really rude guy who planted himself right next to Tim, practically on top of him, and he did not smell to lovely. There was plenty of room on the other side of him, but he was saving space for his family, meanwhile invading Tim's personal space and polluting his nostrils. They stood up while the parade was coming in front of all the children behind them. The cast members had to ask them repeatedly to back up and sit down. They just didn't understand. I should have taken a picture so you all could see what I am talking about, my story just does not do justice to what happened. haha I ended up sitting next to the family so Tim could enjoy himself. I only had to push back a couple times. Was this a rock concert or a Disney Parade?!?! hahaaahaa We still enjoyed the parade. Tyler waved and blew kisses! The look on his face of sheer happiness and excitment was priceless. I will treasure it forever.
Here are some parade pictures...
The VILLIAN float...
Peter Pan and Wendy
Ty waving at the characters...you can see annoying man behind me...eewwww...haha
WE LOVED IT! So sad to leave, but we wanted to get a head start on our journey. We stopped at the Poly to try to find a St. Patty's christmas ornament I wanted to get for my family...but they didn't have it. We strolled through the Poly and walked to the Ticket and Transportation Center...It was nice and we soaked in every last memory. We went back to the POFQ gift shop, I found the ornament, and I could not think of anything else to stall us. It was time to journey home. We had a wonderful time, and memories to last a lifetime!
SEE YA REAL SOON!!!

Day 8 MGM and Fantasmic!
Here we are...our last FULL day at Disney. We are leaving tomorrow...but we still have so much left to do!
Today, we started off laid back. We relaxed by the pool, took a nap and headed over to MGM. We got in the early afternoon and walked around. We tried to go to the Playhouse Disney show, but we just missed it. We stood in front of the wall mural and got some cute pictures. Tyler LOVED it!
Here is the coke bottle that would spray a misty water on you...
We had dinner at Hollywood and Vine as part of the Fantasmic Package. Nothing too exciting...no characters this time ;)
Afterwards, we went to see where we had to go for Fantasmic. We walked this back entrance to get to the dinner package section. We were seated a good 45 minutes before the show was to start. Needless to say, with a 20 month old, we were nervous. Tyler was so good! Tim bought him a Mickey light spinning toy which kept him occupied...and he watched the 2 little girls next to us dance all around. Here is a picture of Tim and Ty before the show was to start.
Fantasmic is amazing. They show little movie images and clips on sheets of water...here is one of flounder (my fave)
Boats carried different characters around...like a moving stage.
Ariel and Prince Eric
Here is a cool picture of the water covered in flames...(see the dragon in the background?)
Mickey pitting out the flames...
Here is a boat going by with a ton of characters...Tyler was waving and waving...I was crying...happy tears of course.
It was such an amazing feeling watching Tyler filled with wonder....precious and a moment I will treasure always.
We had such a great evening, but we were so tired and had a lot of packing to do. Tomorrow is our last day...we are heading to MK for the 3:00 parade before we start our drive back home again.
sigh....

Day 7...continued...
So, we leave Animal Kingdom...I am still amped up about the FP... I know, does not take much. We head back to the resort and swim and rest...then we get all ready for Chef Mickey's AGAIN...and you are wondering why we are going again?
Ty LOVES Mickey and the gang, and this breakfast had his favorites. We wanted Tyler to have as much joy as his little heart could hold. Wait till you see the pictures. Tyler really thought these characters were there for him. He was just adorable. The scared little hands covering the ears were gone. He was a pro now!
Here he is meeting Goofy!
Another cute pat on the head...
Here is Pluto eating our child...
Another cute pat on the head...
Notice, Ty is all about it now! Not scared at all!
He was having the time of his life!
HI-5 DONALD!
How sweet it is...
Minnie spots the Tyler cuteness!
She cannot wait to get her hands on Tyler's adorable cheeks..
Awwww....
Tyler kisses Minnie...
And NOW its time for MICKEY MOUSE! Tyler's favorite!
They have some catching up to do...
Blowing kisses...
Mickey Hi-5

We had a wonderful time!

So we head back to Port Orleans...and we decided we are not ready to go to bed yet...we decide to explore Port Orleans and take a WALK over to Port Orleans Riverside. On the way, we met some people and they said that there was a rocket launching at Cape Canaveral. We waited for a while, walked a little bit...waited...nothing..so we went on our way to Port Orleans Riverside. We see plenty of gorgeous fireworks in Disney...whats one little rocket. haha So Port Orleans Riverside...They have a cute lounge with the most entertaining piano player ever. He had the whole room singing along. Tyler LOVED it! He was singing and clapping and dancing. I have most of that on video. The piano player sings, dances, the piano rocks, he gets everyone involved and he is HILARIOUS! We didn't stay too long...only to have a drink and see what was up, we wish we could have stayed longer. It was fantastic!
Here we are picking out our drinks...
Ty practicing his colors...haha and helping Mommy pick out her drink.
I get another "Glow-tini" Year of a Million Dreams Drink with the glow Cube...yes it was all about the glow cube...
We take the boat ride back to the French Quarter and get ready for bed...
Here is Ty with the remote...
And all cozy dtining his milk...
Such a busy and fun day! We had a blast!
