Pirates and Princesses and Flounder

Yes...this deserves its own post...hard to believe we had this wonderful event to go to after such a magical dinner at Coral Reef.
Yo Ho Yo Ho...the Pirates and Princesses Party. It was a special party honoring pirates and princesses of all shapes and sizes..haha
The park closes at 7 and the people with P&P tickets get to have the whole park to themselves. Oun the way to Magic Kingdom from the ticket and transportation center we got to ride in the front of the Monorail...It was Tyler's first time in the front too...very cool.

Our pirate on the monorail

He was just amazed!

Wow

We got cute little monorail drivers licences...haha

We walked through a special entrance with misty fog as castmembers handed us treasure maps and little bags to hold the treasures we found. There was a parade about to begin, so we went into the nearest store and bought some pirate gear before we x marked our spots where we would watch the parade. We met this fantastic castmember at the store, I will call him Louie. He had to be the happiest person ever. So excited, and loved his job so much. He told us the show has a little something extra, and come back at the end of the night to see if we could figure it out. He was just adorable. So we sit and wait for the parade to start, and not real long, as it is not as crowded as a normal day in the park is. Planted front row, the curb all to ourselves...Oh no, here come Candace's tears. I always get a bit emotional...haha Don't think I can handle all this magic.

Tyler LOVED the fireworks! We even bough special ear protectors for him, but they didn't bother him! It was all "WOW" "COOL" with LOTS of clapping! Pointing his little finger up at them...it was so precious to witness his sheer joy and excitement...

The fireworks show was so neat...they made it as the pirates against the princesses and had this little story...but it was hard to pay attention, cause our Tyler stole the show for us.

Ty and I rode the Indy Speedway, Tyler drove, it was cute, we also went on Dumbo...Tim, Ty and I went on the Buzz Lightyear ride (no lines for anything mind you) the three of us went on Pirates of the Caribbean...Ty LOVED it! He proudly said Arrrrr...precious. When we got off, their was a little skit going on with Captain Jack Sparrows...the actor was amazing and sounded just like Mr. Depp. One of the other guests told us on the monorail when we left that Johnny Depp actually came to Disney World and stayed at the Grand Floridian to do a mini workshop with the Capt Jack actors. They said he was the most down to earth nice guy. That always makes me happy to hear stories like that. Ty and I met Pirate Goofy and Pirate Pluto...too cute!

And to top it all off...There was a special dance party featuring Sebastian (one of our dogs in names after him) and my all time favorite, Flounder. Flounder and Sebastian only make rare appearances at the park. This was a special moment for me.

We caught the parade again and Ty was clapping and dancing...and Captain jack was waving and flirting with me...haha Tim acted all silly mad...haha but it was crazy fun. Capt. Jack must have noticed the sparkle pirate crown that I HAD to have...haha I wore with with lots of pirate pride.
On our way out, we met with the fun cast member Louie...We missed the show, but I knew what he was talking about. The characters in the show actually can move their mouths when they sing and dance. It was nice to see our new friend and say goodbye.
We did collect any treasures from our treasure map, but for sure, we have treasures to last a lifetime in the form of amazing memories...
What a magical, spectacular evening! Could anything ever top this! We had so much fun and are so blessed and thankful to be able to experience this. Oh Lord, here come the tears again....

Coming up...
Day 5
Epcot, Luau and the Magic Kingdom again...(new ears...)
